Farm

At House of Hope Northeast Indiana we provide a farm setting where teenagers participate in the responsibilities and privileges that come with life on the farm.

Chores, challenges and recreation are part of the program. Each student is responsible to care for the farm animals. Some of the farm related activities that teens participate in are horseback riding, loading hay wagons, feeding the cattle, cleaning stalls, gardening, swimming, hiking, building projects and automotive training.

Students are rewarded for their willingness to accept new challenges and responsibilities. Their respect for authority, their attitudes and their overall performance determines their future duties and privileges as they work their way to a better life.

Our vision for House of Hope Northeast Indiana is to equip our teenagers to become positive contributing members of society in everything we do. We believe that the experiences and rewards of this lifestyle in conjunction with an atmosphere of love, spiritual guidance and the power of the Holy Spirit is a great combination to achieve the vision that God has given us.
