PROGRAMS THAT ARE CURRENTLY OFFERED:

Creating Positve RelationshipsCREATING POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS (CPR) – Courses for 6th, 7th and/or 8th Grade Students
Building Healthy Futures

The CPR program is an abstinence and character education curriculum designed to meet the needs of middle school students. Lessons are centered around the fact that wise decisions made about sexuality during pre-teen and teen years can indeed be "lifesaving" ones! These courses teach that abstinence from sexual activity before marriage is not only beneficial, but preferred for the physical, mental, social, and emotional health of the individual. Possible consequences in each of these areas are discussed. For more information about this curriculum, visit http://www.creatingpositiverelationships.org.

TEEN FOCUSED WORKBOOKS

Alive & Well offers the following public and private school programs using exciting, teen-focused workbooks. With the help of our instructors, the books allow students to read about the experiences of other young people, apply the concepts to their own lives, set personal goals and take part in discussions with their parents. Student workbooks cost $8 each and are not included in course prices. For more information about these curricula, please visit www.abstinenceandmarriage.com

Quest: An Adventurous JourneyQuest: An Adventurous Journey:
Quest uses true stories to help 8th - 9th grade students along life’s journey.  Practical instruction helps students identify their future goals, such as marriage and family, and avoid obstacles such as sexual activity and other risk behaviors that could keep them from achieving their goals.

AspireAspire: Live Your Life. Be Free.
Aspire is used to help 9th - 10th grade students think through some of the most important decisions in their lives. It is specifically designed to help teens resist the many pressures that push them toward sexual activity and other risky behaviors. It encourages them to make wise choices today, to resist the power of the present and choose instead to pursue their future freedom.

NavigatorNavigator: Finding Your Way To A Healthy And Successful Future:
The Navigator curriculum is used as a guidebook or GPS for 10th - 11th grade students. It helps them figure out where they are and where they are headed. This program is designed to help teens define their paths in life and explore the consequences of risk taking behaviors such as sexual activity, pornography, drugs, alcohol and tobacco. It also promotes ways to build healthy relationships now and in the future.

CUSTOM MADE PROGRAMS-

Alive and Well health educators would be happy to create other programs to meet the needs of your school, church or organization.

SCHEDULING PROGRAMS-

When a school (or organization) requests our services, a qualified Alive and Well instructor will provide a total of 5 hours of fun, interactive and educational training to each class of students. We strive to be as flexible as possible in order to meet the needs of the schools. For this reason, we offer the option of a five, four or three day program to fit your scheduling needs. The total cost of our 5 hour program along with an informational meeting for parents is $400 per class (limited to 30 students). If the school is unable to pay their school fees, HOHNEI will provide grant writing information and fundraising support but will only instruct programs if adequate funds are raised before the scheduled class dates.

Teacher ResourcesOnce an organization schedules classes through Alive and Well, they will be given access to our teachers’ resource page in order to download teacher information, student note packets, parent informational handouts and other needed documents. You will have the option of choosing the public or Christian school versions of our programs.
